OCTOBER 31st ~ Respect Festival Plymouth Racial Equality Council (REC) hold this annual family fun day to Celebrate and promote the cultural diversity of the city. NOVEMBER 5th ~ Plymouth Hoe ~ Bonfire & Firework Night A fun filled free family event, with a communal bonfire to be lit on Plymouth Hoe and a spectacular firework display. There will be catering, fair rides and Hospital Radio will be providing music and entertainment from 6.30pm. 7.30 pm - Lighting of the Bonfire 8.00 pm - Firework Display 14th ~ Plymouth Hoe Memorial ~ Remembrance Day Service 18th ~ Plymouth Guildhall Square ~ Christmas Lights Switch On The venue for this event will be Guildhall Square and will host a multi-artist and media spectacular for all the family, all starting at 5.00pm with the switch on at 6.25pm. DECEMBER Late Night Shopping On the 6 Late Night Shopping Evenings in the run-up to Christmas, there will be City Centre entertainments with Plymouth Sound, Radio Devon, Pirate FM, Carlton TV and Hospital Radio at Place-de Brest. This will be supplemented by entertainments from local charities & voluntary organisations please support them.
